Just the usual absent-minded type of person - which, of course, is bad in the kitchen. But now I can be sure of not burning down the house or at least not ruining any more pots. I can't abide whistling tea kettles, so this was a great find. And if there is a simple design, tell me, because the simpler is always better. Thanks.

The ceramic pot minder definitely does its indicated job, yet makes a whole lot of ruckus banging around in the pot while doing so.

I had one of the pot minders and one day it grew legs and walked away. I looked for months trying to find another but did not know the actual name of the pot minder. I found this by chance and I am sooo happy! It really works in keeping your pots from boiling over!
